| Here's
Mary Lou, our site host. The site hosts along the way are the people who
make our job so easy. They make all the arangements for rooms, meals,
speakers, etc. and make us feel comfortable. And next to her is Dan, a
local author, who gave us a great of the buildings of Saint Charles, the
first town west of the Mississippi, and the first state capital.

three replica boats of the Discovery Expedition of Saint Charles. |

role of St. Charles in the expedition. and Bob showed us the keelboat.

In the evening, we had a very
enlightening lecture from Debbie Crank Lewis, "Setting the Stage."
On the right she is pictured with her son, Christian Meriwether. I'm not
sure why he pointing a finger at her, but it seems they are having fun.
