This is our shorter L&C trip -- 11 days from Great Falls, MT to Fort Clatsop, OR

LaQuinta in Great Falls, MT will be our home the first three days. This is where L&C spent a month portaging 18 mles around five waterfalls. The Indians told them it would take half a day. but the Indians didn't have 33 people, 6 dugout canoes, 2  40-foot rowboats and 35 tons of equipment.
