Saturday Aug. 7: Pierre, SD to Bismarck, ND
First stop - Sitting Bull's South Dakota Grave above the Missouri River


At this same location on the river is a monument to Sakakwea

Then to Sitting Bull's North Dakota gravesite at Fort Yates, and we had lunch at Prairie Knights Casino.

Glee has grandkids following the trip and counting all the beads they will get when Grandma gets home
Harry gave us a talk about corn, and didn't mention Tom's jokes
I left my camera at the last hotel and Marylou graciously lent me her extra. This the first picture with it.


Custer's house at Fort Abraham Lincoln and the young man who toured us as 1875 visitors.

The bus picks up lots of bugs, but this is Karen doing her Yoga with the bus supporting her back.


Garth became John Newman for the day in a little ongoing kit. Donna soaks up the sun on the riverboat cruise, and Tom with his flag aboard the boat.

A riverboat cruise for a change of pace, and on the Comfort Inn for dinner and sleep.
